Help shape the next generation of automotive technicians We welcome applications from industry professionals who are new to teaching, and the absence of a teaching qualification is not a problem. If you do not already hold a recognised teaching qualification (such as a PGCE), Pembrokeshire College will fully fund and support you to achieve one. You will be given dedicated time to attend our in-house PGCE programme and receive ongoing support throughout your training. Whether you're an experienced lecturer, assessor, technician, workshop controller, master technician, MOT tester, or a skilled automotive professional looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to share your industry knowledge, support learners in developing practical skills, and help them take their first steps towards a rewarding career in the automotive sector. Salary Details: ALS1 - ALS4 (£26,386 - £31,139 per annum) without teaching qualification MG1 - UP1 (£33,596 - £48,288 per annum) with teaching qualification Opportunity to progress onto a further scale Hours of Work: Full Time - 37 hours per week (equivalent to 835 annual teaching hours) Holiday Entitlement: 46 days Annual Leave plus 8 Bank Holidays & College closure days per annum Qualifications: You will have: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering (or equivalent) Strong practical and technical knowledge A passion for supporting and developing others You will also have the opportunity to gain: TAQA Level 3 Assessor Qualification IQA Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification Experience: You will have: Recent and significant experience of working within the Automotive industry.
