The Opportunity If you're confident reading engineering drawings, fabricating components to tight tolerances, and welding to high standards, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities • Read and interpret technical engineering drawings • Fabricate and assemble structural steel and metal components • Perform MIG welding (TIG and Stick advantageous) • Use tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and burning torches • Plate work: marking out, rolling, bending, and fitting • Carry out dimensional checks for accuracy • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment • Follow all site health & safety policies and procedures What We're Looking For Essential: • 4+ years' experience in fabrication/welding • Skilled in MIG welding • Confident reading engineering drawings • Comfortable working with mild steel (experience with stainless/aluminium a bonus) • Experience using fabrication workshop machinery (press brake, guillotine, rollers, etc.) • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset Desirable: • TIG or Stick welding experience • Forklift licence (B1) • CSCS or equivalent site certification • Driving licence (for site work flexibility) How to Apply If you're an experienced Fabricator Welder Plater looking for a stable, full-time role with a company that values craftsmanship and quality, we d love to hear from you.
