We are looking for Production Operatives to join our growing team in Kirkham, on a Two-Shift Rotation (06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00). Competitive rate of pay - £13.13 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half (£19.69) and Sundays paid at double rate (£26.26). Our Production Operatives work on fast paced automated lines, making products to the speed of the conveyor, and also complete daily hygiene duties, with a full chemical clean down on alternating Saturdays. It is important for our employees to align with Kepak's 4 Core Values. This role involves: Responsibility Working as a team to follow the daily production plan and hygiene schedule. Cleaning the production lines using chemicals in line with food safety regulations. Following all health and safety procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safe work practises. Ambition Participating actively in training, asking questions and ensuring full understanding of responsibilities, equipment and procedures. Passion for Food Reporting any quality, hygiene or other issues to an Area Leader promptly to minimise downtime and uphold quality standards. Teamwork Working effectively as part of a production team to ensure optimum results. Reporting any breakages, damages or near-misses to your Area Leader, to foster a safe working environment for everybody. Personal Attributes High level of attention to detail Shows reliability by being punctual, prepared, and ensuring attendance levels are acceptable. Highly motivated and shows initiative, with a continuous improvement mindset. Good communication skills. Flexible to adapt to business needs. Ability to work confidently as part of a team as well as independently when required.
