A Financial Controller is a senior-level executive responsible for managing an organisation's financial operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to support business growth. This position is Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm, with the option of some hybrid working. Overview Kepak Food Safety (Technical) 12 Month Industrial Placement Programme 2026 The Technical 12 Month Industrial Placement programme is designed to give university students insight, training and support around Technical for the UKs best selling micro snacking brand, Rustlers, which we produce at our Kirkham site. We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join the team on our 12-month Technical Placement. These are some of the Key Responsibilities from our Technical Graduate programme; placement students will be exposed to similar activities, but not all to the same depth as the Graduates. Responsibilities Rotational Training: Participate in rotational placements across various technical departments, including Hygiene, Quality Control, and Production. Quality Control: Conduct daily hygiene checks, product quality assessments, and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Issue Identification & Escalation: Identify potential quality issues during inspections and escalate them to the Line Manager (LM) or Technical Manager as required. Data Analysis: Analyse quality control data to identify trends and implement corrective actions to maintain product standards. Communication: Effectively communicate quality issues and resolutions within the QC team and with other stakeholders such as production supervisors and line workers.
