Activities Coordinator Contract £12.71 per hour 37.5 hours per week Shift times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30 minute unpaid break) Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. You will plan and deliver engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. Activities will be tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including those who may require a more structured or sensitive approach to engagement. Building positive relationships is essential, helping you understand individual preferences, behaviours and communication styles to support inclusive participation. You will create a calm, supportive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, confident and connected.
