Signatus are representing a world-class legal client to recruit multiple newly qualified solicitors (greater PQE will be considered) to join its newly established Belfast-based office. The role will support the senior partners in their delivery of excellent client service to some globally recognised clientele, including high net worth individuals and global multinational corporations. What will I be doing? You will be exposed to both the best contentious litigation and non-contentious work available in this field and have access to the leading practitioners in their fields in this position. Your legal research skills and knowledge will be vastly enhanced within this learning environment and you will be given responsibilities for preparing and organising your own caseload. You will work in small focus teams and individually to draft, prepare and advise on complex legal matters. What experience do I need? We are interested in speaking with any newly qualified solicitors who can demonstrate excellent academics (a First class degree, or Masters qualification in addition to legal degree, are advantageous). However, an aptitude for learning and developing professionally is required as is the ability to use your initiative. Strong research skills or prior experience working in heavily intensive research roles within your training contract or public sector/quasi-governmental roles would be of interest. You will be joining an established brand in a newly established Belfast office, making it a fantastic opportunity to help grow and develop with the firm as its client list and pipeline grows too. This is a long-term career option for any newly qualified solicitor who is thinking they maybe haven't been given the right environment to grow in or are currently doing a type of work in a practice area they don't really enjoy.

Signatus are working with a major law firm to recruit aspiring corporate solicitors into their fastest growing and most successful team in Belfast. This is an opportunity to grow and develop your corporate skillsets under the guidance of chambers recognised partners where you will be trained in all aspects of corporate M&A transactional and advisory work. The firm are interested in interviewing solicitors from any jurisdiction (UK/NI/Ireland) who believe they have a passion or long term interest in developing a career as a corporate solicitor. They are happy to speak to all levels of solicitors ranging from NQ with a foundation seat in corporate commercial work to more experienced Associate or Senior Associate levels from other disciplines who have maybe touched on some corporate work within their practice areas. WHY? The firm are growing their Corporate team as a result of exceptional client feedback and increasing client demand both locally and internationally. Given the demand within the sector currently and the shortage of qualified solicitors within private practice, we are open to considering candidates from either private practice or in house sectors. Particularly appealing are perhaps those from an Alternative legal services background who have maybe moved away from private practice previously but who would consider a return to the right firm under the right circumstances. WHAT? This role is a direct client facing one where you will be provided with all the knowledge, tools and guidance to deliver outstanding legal results for your clients. The firm has a global footprint and provides their solicitors with UK and cross-jurisdictional cases (that they run themselves). But they have also been involved in some of the biggest corporate transactions and ventures at a local level too and are well known in the market for their expertise. This is an opportunity to grow and develop a new career path within a small but growing team where there will be zero obstacles to progression, only encouragement and guidance to succeed. In addition to a top of the market salary for your PQE level, there are a range of added company benefits such as a pension scheme, cycle to work, medical and health insurance and an additional holiday purchase scheme that you can avail of. WHEN to apply? Send your CV immediately to our Principal Legal Consultant Fionntán Gamble or call the number on the Signatus website to hear more information directly and in confidence. The company is looking to roll out multiple new sites over the next 1-3 years and you have an opportunity to come in as area manager and spearhead some of that growth. This area manager role reports directly to the regional director and is pivotal in unlocking the growth potential of the next phase of operations. The salary level is a guide and candidates at lower or higher levels who can bring the requisite skill level and experience to the table will be considered. Your new role Based initially in Banbridge, but with occasional local travel envisaged further down the line, you will oversee the people management function of fast-paced retail businesses. The company is at the start-up phase in the local market but has systems and processes in place for all training, development and onboarding processes. You will have full managerial responsibilities for rota setting, determining shift patterns, interviewing and recruiting new staff, managing finances and invoicing, supplier management and all the general day-to-day functions involved in successfully running the site. The area manager will be a key figurehead in driving and developing the company culture locally which is an exceptional trait throughout the groups other locations. What do you need to succeed? You will have gained at least 3-5 years of managerial experience in a customer-focused environment, ideally within fast-paced retail or food-to-go outlets. You may have gained your experience in a commercial franchise or perhaps you have a HR background in the FMCG industry and you are looking to make a move to a more hands-on HR Manager role. The company rewards well and they expect in return to hire a hands-on manager. Someone who can work off their initiative, who is an effective communicator and people manager, someone who can adapt well to the 'start up' environment where everything isn't perfect at the beginning and someone who recognises the huge potential career path ahead if they make a success of this first role.
