The opportunity Take ownership of an established temporary driving and industrial desk, win new clients, and build a construction and engineering market with a defined route into leadership. We are looking for someone who feels undervalued and wants to test what they can do when given the freedom to build. All conversations will be confidential. THE ROLE Connect Recruitment Partners is appointing a Senior Recruitment Consultant who can run a live temporary desk and create new revenue. You will inherit active driving and industrial work, maintain service for existing clients and develop construction and engineering business across temporary, contract and permanent recruitment. No restriction on the location of any new business opportunities. You will have support with candidate resourcing, pre-screening, payroll, administration and compliance. That support gives you more time for client conversations, site visits, commercial decisions and placements. WHAT YOU WILL OWN Manage and grow the existing temporary driving and industrial desk. Win new clients through targeted business development, referrals and established market relationships. Open construction and engineering accounts, with an initial focus on labour, trades, technical and operational appointments. Build a balanced desk across temporary, contract and permanent recruitment. Protect margin, agree workable terms and maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts. Develop a repeatable client and candidate pipeline to grow your own team WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU A proven record as a 360 Recruitment Consultant, Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant. Evidence that you have originated and retained business through your own market credibility and relationships. Experience managing temporary recruitment, including fulfilment, worker care, margin and service delivery. Commercial confidence with decision makers and the discipline to keep prospecting while managing delivery. The judgement to build relationships properly and respect confidentiality, data protection and contractual obligations. Experience in construction or engineering recruitment is valuable. Strong recruiters from driving, industrial, logistics or a related temporary market can also succeed. The ambition to recruit, coach and lead people as the desk grows. PROGRESSION The role has a performance-based route from Senior Recruitment Consultant to Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Director. Progression depends on personal gross profit, profitable team growth, leadership, compliance and the ability to develop successors. It does not depend on time served; it is completely results-driven, with the support of the business. The Trainee Solicitor will work with the General Legal Counsel to support the transformation of the business as well as provide the essential day-to-day services of an in-house solicitor across a wide range of practice areas including FCA regulation, litigation, commercial lending, employment and commercial property. They will also assist the General Legal Counsel in his role as company secretary of the four companies. We will ensure that you are given all required practical and relevant experience in various areas of law in order to help you to qualify. Job Title: Sales Administrator PURPOSE SUMMARY: The Sales Administrator will work support the processing of new business through our Point-Of-Sale System. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Process finance proposals in our Point-Of-Sale online system; entering customer personal details and finance quote figures Monitoring system updates on the status of finance proposals & transposing this into a customer portal system Work closely with our internal Underwriting and Payout departments to progress proposals successfully through our Point-Of-Sale online system e.g. contacting customers for additional proofs, uploading documents, challenging declined decisions General administration To assist line manager with their specific departmental responsibilities and to adhere to all regulations and requirements DIMENSIONS / BUDGETS: This is an office based role Monday to Friday 9am 5.30pm/9.30 to 6pm (Rota dependent) - WFH 2 days when full training is completed KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS: Ideally educated to at least A-level standard.
