About the role Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain the Purchasing Manager will ensure the company receive a consistent supply of high quality, responsibly sourced components, to facilitate a smooth & efficient manufacturing process. Key duties include: Facilitating a long-term & sustainable Purchasing Strategy and ensuring all products sourced in line with strict corporate guidelines Management of the purchasing function including product procurement and managing delivery schedules Performing supplier audits and gaining new approvals for new suppliers Planning for supply chain risk and ensuring approved back up suppliers for essential components Raising purchase orders and product return administration Negotiating prices and delivery terms with all suppliers Ensuring quality control targets are maintained for all components.
