ABOUT THE ROLE Head of Middle East Sales is responsible for relationships and commercial development from clients/guests from the Middle Eastern region. Proactive sales and reactive sales is required for all clients from this market including establishing and growing relationships with key in-house guests. Head of Middle East Sales must maximize yield in alignment with the strategic goals of the sales department and the objectives of Corinthia Hotel London with the assistance of the Revenue Manager and the Senior Director of Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing. Key activities include but are not limited to, sales calls, sales trips, trade shows, networking events, site inspections, fam trips, client entertaining both in and outside of the hotel. Appropriate social media usage. Head of Middle East Sales must have a knowledge and understanding of the culture and business practices of the Middle Eastern region in order to be able to work in the most impactful way and grow trust and longstanding relationships. The Head of Middle East Sales liaises closely with the Senior Director of Global Sales - Middle East, Africa & Turkey to maximise proactive sales activities and conversion of enquiries and work collaboratively as required to achieve the budgeted revenue from this segment. ABOUT YOU Ideally 4 years working in the Luxury Hotel Segment preferably in the UK or GCC with a strong commercial and cultural understanding of Middle Eastern business for the Luxury London hotel market Strong communication and interpersonal skills A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality Excellent level of written and spoken English Empathy and care for your guests and colleagues Ability to work under pressure and respond in an appropriate time to client requests Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment Pride and attention to detail in your work Takes pride in own professional grooming Professional and engaging personality Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests Ability to travel extensively in the Middle Eastern Region and/or.
