As a new role within our Buying Operations function, you key responsibilities will be: Partnering with our Buying teams to identify key areas of risk related to Social Compliance priorities; Managing the factory / 3rd party audit process and remediating any shortfalls and developing solutions for key areas of risk as well as developing compliant vendor relationships; Building relationships across the business and externally with our sustainability consultants etc, capturing data on compliance issues to allow the wider function to perform analytics and spot trends and emerging risks. Essential skills and experience Experience of production and working with factories. Knowledge and experience of 3rd party / factory audit process Working understanding of audit reports and key areas of risk related to product compliance / product assurance Strong interest and awareness for social compliance Awareness of key areas of risk related to social compliance on an Audit report (e.g. working hours, forced labour, modern slavery, wages etc) and how to escalate / delegate to relevant stakeholder / third party Comfortable working on their own / making decisions independently but influencing changes through others Deal in the grey and be resilient in finding creative ways to ensure change.
