Day-to-day of the role: Preparing client care packs and guiding new clients through the completion of client care and Property Transactional Forms. Obtaining land registry documents and drafting Contract packs for sale under team supervision. Keeping agents and mortgage brokers updated on case progress. Downloading, saving, and providing Mortgage Offer packs for checking and reporting. Liaising with clients regarding ID verification and monies on account. Submitting search applications and printing and saving search results as instructed by team members. Handling the submission of Land Registry applications to register, updating spreadsheets, and monitoring and responding to requisitions with conveyancer support. Preparing Bills and maintaining an up-to-date spreadsheet for TM and HS. Supporting conveyancers with exchange and completion correspondence and providing general support to the team as an experienced legal secretary. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a legal secretary within conveyancing Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Audio typing Proficiency in handling telephone calls and client inquiries. Ability to draft legal documents and Contract packs with attention to detail. Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Land Registry processes and search applications. Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain spreadsheets and records.
