SEN Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs? Are you looking for a short term or long-term position with weekends and school holidays off? Would you be interested in a £83.40 to £96.40 daily rate of pay? Are you looking for the opportunity to gain new skills and development? Do you live in the Merthyr Tydfil area? We are currently recruiting for a special educational needs teaching assistant based in the Merthyr Tydfil area. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience and an in depth understanding of working with children who have severe learning difficulties. Any additional qualifications or knowledge is most definitely desirable but is not essential. Requirements: A highly enthusiastic and motivational individual. Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service. The ability to remain calm when faced with pressured situations. Works well as past of a team. Confident in being able to work on a 1:1 basis or a small group with children with a range of different needs. Support pupil with their physical and personal care needs. Be able to promote a positive environment ensuring an inclusive learning atmosphere. Encourage and promote positive behaviour alongside positive relationships with students, parents and carers.
