The role is to manage the contracts, oversee from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget. ? Maintain the highest standards of personal and professional conduct ? Report to the Contracts Managers ? Manage and supervise contractors and their work on site ? Ensure that the work is done up to necessary standard and in a safe manner ? Check progress against programme ? Liaise with Main Contractor ? Advise and record progress ? Provide toolbox talks and induction when necessary ? Ensure that our employees and sub-contractors adhere to site's H&S and Environmental rules ? Ensure that our employees and sub-contractors only undertake work activities that are planned and have been subjected to method statements and risk assessments ? Ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that work once started is carried out as planned and that account is taken of changing or unforeseen conditions as work proceeds ? Report any accidents, incidents and near misses to contracts managers, H&S Consultant and H&S and HR Manager ? Ensure that appropriate and sufficient PPE is in good condition and used correctly ? Understand the regulations applicable to the work on which your operatives are engaged and insist that these Regulations are observed and that they are incorporated in the requirements of the site's Health and Safety Plan ? Incorporate safety instructions in routine daily tasks
