Home trials are often needed for niche, frequently paediatric or rare disease studies, where patient attrition is higher than average. This company provides expert support to ensure that even the patients that are hardest to reach, and retain, can take part in life changing/saving research. They are therefore, by nature, very patient centric and really do go the extra mile to help their customers and patients, to keep things moving forward. They have a real family feel approach and take a great deal of care when it comes to looking after their employees. This is why office presence on a weekly basis is important, so that the person in this role can feel supported and have good visibility and access to the senior management team. They have also just had a full office refurb, taking over extra floors to accommodate for their unprecedented growth. They have a very flat structure and so discussions and meetings with leadership will be a daily/weekly occurrence! *The role:* In this role you will report to the regional Head of BD and will be a part of a team of 5-7 with responsibility for UK/ EU client base. There will be some travel opportunities expected when restrictions are lifted. This role is 80% account management and 20% new business focused; the typical sales cycles are between 6-9 months (prospect to verbal award). A typical project runs for 2-3 years, you will work based on Miller Heinmann sales methodology. This is a fantastic opportunity for career development as the company continues to grow. *Requirements:* - 2-3 years in a BD/Account Management role for a CRO or Service provider selling clinical trial services. - Ideally experience in a key accounts role. My client is an independent care group specialising in nursing and dementia care. They have an interesting opportunity for an experienced Turnaround Manager to work with the senior management team of the business on significantly improving the standard of care and running of a nursing home. This is a sizeable home and experience running a similar sized (80+ beds) would be highly desirable although this is not essential.
