Lone working will be part of the role, as you will be based at the small stable yard which is approximately 10 minutes from school. You will always have a member of support staff from school with you when delivering interventions to the students. Your role will include communicating information around the young person, liaising with other school colleagues, parents and carers and external providers. As part of the role, you will be expected to write risk assessments, conduct pre-visit risk assessments and ensure relevant policies and procedures are followed. You will need to keep accurate and detailed notes on sessions, and feedback to SLT on the progress of students.
