SEN Teaching Assistants are needed for immediate supply positions for a lovely SEN school we work with in the Morpeth area. We have SEN Teaching Assistants positions in this school with children with needs ranging from ASD, Speech and Language, MLD, SEMH and PMLD/complex needs. The school has a superb Creative Arts Hub, sensory rooms, Forrest school, swimming pool, Therapy Hut and Media suite. Experience in supporting children with any of the above needs would be an advantage but is not essential - a willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality we are looking for. If you have experience as SEN Teaching Assistant, a support worker in a residential care environment we would be keen for you to apply. Although a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is not essential, it is desirable and we can signpost you to training providers to enhance your skills. Posts vary from short term to long term but we require staff that are flexible and willing to learn from experienced staff at the school. In addition, to work for us as a SEN Teaching Assistant you must: • Provide two referees we can contact • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one We are a teacher run agency based in Sunderland. We provide a supply and permanent placement service to schools in the North East and Teesside area. We are incredibly supportive and we offer training on site or in house to help to move your career on. We ensure that all staff are compliant with our safeguarding procedures before being placed in our clients schools. We offer a friendly and highly efficient service and we are contactable 24/7.
