We are seeking a fun, dynamic and engaging Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students with ASD and PMLD. A specialist Secondary SEN school in a wonderful setting are looking for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with SEN students aged between 11 and 19, Monday - Friday 8.45am - 3.30pm The School has a great SLT who care about their staffs wellbeing as well as providing a fun and nurturing environment for the students. Class sizes are up to 10 students with around 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants in each. As a HLTA you will be covering classes and taking small groups of students. The staff team are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their education. They provide a therapeutic environment and a therapeutic approach for children with SEN. Have experience of implementing a range of strategies to raise student achievement, with evidence of success. Contribution to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum. A proven track record of excellent results at KS3/4. Have experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
