The role You will be part of our rapidly growing UK Salesforce Marketing Tech practice helping to shape and deliver the right outcomes for our clients. Working with our wider Salesforce practice across Business, Experience & Technology, you will deliver Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects for some of the largest brands in the UK & beyond. The ideal candidates will have a consistent track record in working with the technical and solution architects of global brands, and their teams, to identify, architect and implement technology solutions in support of digital marketing transformation initiatives. Furthermore, the ideal candidates will be: An experienced Salesforce solution architect (Marketing Cloud - Sales & Service appreciated but not required), able to help our clients assess their current digital technology maturity, identify gaps and shape a comprehensive, end-to-end digital blueprint and technology roadmap At minimum Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant & Developer certifications Experienced in supporting business development activities, including designing and top-down and bottom-up estimating Salesforce solutions based on minimal requirements provided by potential clients Experienced in the systems delivery lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, integration, testing (all phases), migration and deployment Solid experience with Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing data modelling, integration patterns and architecture best practices Experience across the marketing tech stack for designing larger martech stack approaches Good knowledge of Salesforce offerings, including licensing options Experience of deployment management and software delivery lifecycle Recognised as a trusted adviser, with a track record of creating successful technology solutions that support the organisational strategic vision and goals Able to bring to bear extensive knowledge of architectural patterns, technology components, vendor solutions and emerging technology trends on martech solution development in one or more industries A confident written and verbal communicator, able to clearly explain digital ideas to non-technical audiences, and work effectively with non-technical colleagues and business executives A capable team leader, used to leading teams of consultants, analysts, technologists and third party suppliers to develop detailed solutions, costs, timescales and methods for delivery of technology solutions Seasoned at successfully running the sourcing and selection process for third-party software and other technology components and services, as required to enable delivery of digital transformation solutions Commercial Supporting Presales during development of new business with new or existing clients Producing proposals & working with Salesforce to present proposals Review of proposals during the presales process to ensure proposal accuracy Working with the commercial team to ensure a smooth handover in to Delivery processes Growing the Business Be an integral part of scaling the business through spotting growth opportunities, developing delivery centers & creating new lines of business / accelerators / market solutions Participate in recruitment activities where necessary Lead internal trainings & thought leadership across marketing tech The Essentials: Obsession with delivering best in class customer experiences & leveraging modern marketing tech to transform how brands operate and communicate with their customers Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent, we are open to strong candidates from all relevant educational backgrounds but you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven consulting experience, gained with a leading professional services or systems integration firm Expert knowledge and understanding of digital trends and challenges across industries, gained through project experience, contribution to thought leadership, articles, client recommendation, etc Proven experience in providing leadership on complex, digital and front-office transformation initiatives, working with and/or running mixed technical teams to deliver the work Demonstrable track record of helping to shape successful business development of digital and other front office business transformation initiatives Experience designing and implementing Marketing technologies Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration experience including use of Journey Builder, AMPscript, SWL, automation studio, & landing pages Salesforce Email Specialist Certification Ability to travel throughout the UK and overseas The nice to have: Passion for growing businesses & the challenge of being one of the global leaders in marketing technology consulting Wider business consulting experience in the Marketing domain Salesforce Marketing Cloud Social Specialist certification Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification Salesforce DMP, Interaction Studio, Datorama, Customer 360 Audiences experience Pardot experience Wider Salesforce certifications Other marketing technology experience (e.g. Adobe Marketing Cloud, Marketo Marketing Automation, Sitecore Experience) Commercial experience gained in one of the following sectors: Financial Services -
