Live Shopping Host & Online Marketplace Lister Birmingham Part-time - 12 hours per week Flexible days 15 per hour + commission Employed or freelance Our client, i24 Group, is looking for a confident, motivated and commercially minded person to take charge of selling clearance stock from their Birmingham facility through live shopping and online marketplaces. This is a varied, hands-on role with one main objective: get products sold and stock moving. They hold a wide variety of clearance stock that they no longer wish to retain, ranging from household items and clothing to beauty products, electronics and much more. You'll be responsible for finding the best way to get those products in front of buyers and sold. What you'll be doing A key part of the role will be hosting live shopping streams , particularly on Whatnot , where you'll present products, engage with viewers and run fast-paced clearance sales and auctions. You'll need to be comfortable in front of the camera, able to talk confidently about different products and create an engaging live shopping experience that encourages people to buy. Alongside live selling, you'll take responsibility for listing suitable products on marketplaces such as eBay. This will include photographing products, researching appropriate pricing, writing clear and appealing descriptions and creating listings designed to get products sold. You'll also help decide which products and selling methods work best across different platforms. A role you can make your own i24 Group is at the beginning of building its live shopping operation, so they're not looking for someone who simply wants to follow a fixed process. You'll have plenty of autonomy to help develop how they use platforms such as Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay and other relevant marketplaces , including how live sales are structured, products are presented, stock is priced and sell-through is improved. They see live shopping becoming an important part of the business and, if successful, something they'll expand significantly. Who we're looking for You'll be someone who is confident, engaging and genuinely enjoys selling. You should be comfortable presenting in front of a camera and interacting with a live audience, but equally happy working behind the scenes researching products, taking good photographs, creating listings and managing online marketplaces. Experience or a good understanding of platforms such as Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay or similar selling platforms would be particularly useful. Most importantly, they're looking for someone who takes ownership. You'll be given access to a constantly changing range of products and the freedom to help work out the best way to turn that stock into sales. Hours The role will initially be 12 hours per week , based at i24 Group's Birmingham facility. The working days will initially be flexible, as they want to test different days and times to establish when their live shopping sessions perform best. As the live shopping side of the business develops, there is potential for the hours and responsibilities of the role to increase. If you're confident on camera, understand online selling and like the idea of taking a varied range of products and finding ways to get them sold, we'd like to hear from you.
