Senior Mechanical / HVAC Project Manager Air Conditioning & Ventilation Projects Portsmouth, Hampshire £65,000 £75,000 + Car, Travel expenses,Laptop,Phone,iPad andPension This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join a respected mechanical services contractor delivering air conditioning and ventilation projects across the healthcare, medical imaging and commercial sectors. The company is a long-standing building services contractor with decades of experience delivering high-quality HVAC installations. With continued growth across the South and increasing demand for their specialist expertise, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to support delivery of multiple mechanical and HVAC projects. The Role You will lead HVAC and mechanical engineering projects from initial handover through to completion, ensuring delivery is executed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include: Managing HVAC and mechanical projects from inception to commissioning Attending project handovers and liaising closely with estimators and designers Coordinating internal and external design teams and incorporating survey and site-visit findings Procuring materials, plant, equipment and subcontract services Planning labour requirements, coordinating workforce and subcontract labour Maintaining cost control, valuations and cashflow forecasting Overseeing crane lifts and occasional weekend or out-of-hours works when required Managing documentation for O&M manuals and as-fitted drawings Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, engineers and technicians Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and standardisation About You Minimum 5 years experience as an HVAC Project Manager Strong background in air conditioning and ventilation systems Experience working on commercial, healthcare or technical environments Strong procurement, planning and contract management understanding Excellent leadership, communication and project delivery skills Able to manage multiple projects and teams confidently Remuneration Package Senior Mechanical / HVAC Project Manager £65,000 £75,000 base salary Company car Travel expenses Laptop, phone & iPad Pension Professional development and long-term career progression opportunities Next Steps If you are an experienced HVAC Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in air conditioning, ventilation or mechanical building services, and you are looking for a long-term position with a respected contractor, we would be delighted to hear from you.
