An exciting opportunity has arisen for three college-based Assessor Trainer in Building Services Engineers to join our construction team based at our Chichester Campus . You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £21,298 - £23,275 per annum, plus a £4,500 Market Supplement. In return for joining us as our Assessor Trainer in Building Services Engineers, we will offer you: - Competitive Pension Scheme - Generous annual leave package - Discounted private medical care - Subsidised local gym membership, plus more Key Responsibilities of our Assessor Trainer in Building Services Engineers: - Supporting the development of learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviours throughout their programme - Applying theoretical and practical learning in practical work environments - Collaborating with colleagues and employers to meet learners' needs and achieve their potential - Effectively participating in, and complying with, all administrative aspects of awarding body requirements - Ensuring the learners' timely completion of their training and qualifications in partnership with employers - Supporting the learners' development of vocational competence and the wider skills that relate to employability - Training and/or assessing learners within the relevant vocational area to awarding organisation standards promptly - Providing workbased practice of the assessment instruments in the EPA where required - Assessing learners' competence to work-related/industry standards - Meeting regularly with relevant curriculum and pastoral staff - Attending regular standardisation/team meetings, as required - Meeting regularly with the Lead IQA to ensure learner progress is updated Our ideal Lecturer in Assessor Trainer in Building Services Engineers should have the below skills and experience: - Level 2 in literacy and numeracy - Level 3 subject sector relevant qualification - Level 3 Assessor Award (TAQA or equivalent) - Level 3 Teaching Award in Education - Coaching and/or Mentoring award - Relevant and recent vocational experience in the relevant industry sector - Experience in using a range of assessment techniques - Experience in interpreting, developing, and delivering training sessions - Experience in tracking, monitoring, and reporting candidate progress - Demonstrable experience of a candidate and employer centric approach to delivery - Working knowledge of the relevant vocational area - Up to date knowledge of the sector - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word - Up to date knowledge of Prevent and Equality and Diversity Closing date: Thursday 16 September 2021 Interview date: Week commencing 4 October 2021 If you would like to learn more about our Assessor Trainer in Building Services Engineers role then please click ' apply ' today!
