The platform itself is primarily based on VMWare, Windows and Linux technologies and supports a wide range of domain applications for the armed forces. Automation components are primarily developed using PowerShell and will focus on Windows Server components including its various features and services. Ideally, they will have some knowledge of structured cabling, be security cleared and have a valid driving licence. The normal working hours are Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm however the successful candidate will be expected to carry out some out of hours and weekend work.
