My client is a uniquely diverse UK consultancy looking for an organised Assistant Acoustics Consultant to support an increasing workload in noise impact assessment. Requirements are- MSc or BSc in Acoustics or a related subject. Commercial experience in Acoustics. Driving license. Excellent communication skills. IT literate. You should have experience in undertaking noise surveys, using specialist software, and working knowledge of environmental acoustics standards such as BS 4142, BS 5228, and CRN. Within this role you will be working on Undertaking baseline surveys, reporting, and analysis and modelling of noise emissions. Using specialist software to predict noise emissions from a variety of sources. Preparing and collating data for reports Supporting senior staff. Liaising with clients. An understanding of the EIA and PPC process of building acoustics is desirable but not essential.
