Job Description
Senior Software Developer / Team Lead (C# .Net Core TypeScript) Sunderland / WFH to £75k
Opportunity to join a leading online gaming company in a senior, hands-on leadership role working on a modern tech stack.
As a Senior Software Developer / Team Lead you will head up an Agile Squad to deliver strategic projects and features to stakeholders and players. You'll collaborate with other Lead Developers, Product Managers, Data Engineers and other business stakeholders, ensuring your team is working on the right thing at the right time in line with product strategy.
You'll take ownership of projects, provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance and ensure that quality standards are upheld and that features are delivered on time, fostering a supportive team environment with knowledge sharing and close collaboration.
WFH Policy:
There's a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days a week; when you're in the office you'll be based in awesome custom built offices in Sunderland with a range of facilities and perks including free meals and snacks at the onsite restaurant as well as membership at onsite gym.
Requirements:
You have experience of managing Agile software engineering teams
You have a strong understanding of software engineering best practices
You have mentoring, technical and team leadership skills
You have strong software engineering skills including technologies such as: C#, ASP.Net MVC, .Net Core, JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, Lambda, Docker, Terraform, TeamCity, GitHub, SQL, MySQL, Redis
You have a good understanding of high volume websites
You have a good grounding with Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
You're collaborative with a genuine enthusiasm for technology, keen to learn and share knowledge
You're likely to be degree educated in a STEM discipline
