Client; We are proud to be working alongside a historic catering supplies company who are looking to add a forecast manager to their ever growing team. The Role; The Forecast Manager is a pivotal role within the business, working with commercial, operations and supply chain to develop effective forecast models. Supporting the Head of Supply Chain to deliver the highest level of service to our customers, whilst supporting the business objectives. The Forecast Manager will have direct responsibility for a team of two forecast analysts. Main Responsibilites; Adhere to the overall planning and forecasting strategy. Identify Demand Forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans. Develop the RELEX System and demand plans based on business trends, commercial data and demand patterns. Analyse and troubleshoot demand related issues in a timely and accurate manner. Build collaborative relationships with customer forecasting / supply chain teams. Lead operator for the forecasting system. Maintain training materials and organise training for the team members. Develop team members and improve forecasting capability within the business. Work cross functionally to identify opportunities from managing demand more effectively (smoothing, rebalancing demand). Develop routine and ad-hoc demand related reports. Proactively escalate issues and concerns up through the approved procedure. Follow and enforce company rules and regulations. Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives. Assist in developing capacity models. Required ; Previous work experience in a Supply Chain environment, preferably in a Food/FMCG environment. Excellent knowledge of statistical data modelling. Extensive knowledge and experience of the RELEX system. Ecperience working with processes, SOP's, KPI's. Benefits; 20 days plus Bank Holidays. Holidays increase with service to 25 days.
