My client is a well respected Tech firm based in Chippenham, who has clients all over the UK. It is one of the first start ups in Wiltshire and is offering a very exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working within a 2nd line support role to lead their service desk team.
Your new role
Your time will be divided between escalation from 1st/2nd Line Support, coaching and
managing technicians (and apprentices), delivering hands on technical support,
holding 1-2-1 meetings (including appraisals), work prioritisation, distribution and
performance management, and improving the way we work.
What you'll need to succeed
. Customer service experience
. Knowledge of server roles (AD DS, DNS, DHCP etc)
. Experience with Windows server 2012, 2016 & 2019
. Experience with Microsoft Windows 7 - 11
. Understanding of WiFi technologies
. Knowledge of network topologies, Routers & managed Switches
. Good personal skills
