Role: Commercial Operations Analyst

Location: Dunstable we have a fantastic hybrid working environment, you'll need to be in the office at least 2 days per week but the rest of your week can be flexible to what works best for you and your role.

Whitbread are growing their decision science team and are expanding into the commercial space - we are looking for a Commercial Operations Analyst to come on board and act as a key operational interface between our Commercial and Hotel Operations teams and the commercial operating systems that enable effective pricing and inventory management of hotel rooms.
Inside the role:
- Enable the Trading team to quickly and safely implement change in pricing and parameter setup within our pricing systems
- Support the Sales & Distribution team by amending or loading new rates into our hotel management system for distribution to our B2B customers
- Support implementation of planned changes in inventory, including new openings, extensions, refurbs and changes in room types/configuration
- Implement unplanned changes in inventory setup and availability to support hotel operations
- Proactively identify and react to opportunities to improve enforcement of rate class T&Cs, helping to drive revenue quality through reduced cancellation rates
- Support implementation of changes to reservations, either individually or through batch/scripted processes
- Apply changes in configuration (parameters, rules etc) within the Hotel Management System to enable accurate application of commercial strategy/tactics

- Building and applying systematic error checking processes
- Keen curiosity

- Experience with MS Office
- Intermediate MS Excel user
