Job Description

We are looking for highly motivated .NET Core Principal Engineer - Financial Services (up to 120,000 GBP) to join our team of Software Engineers in delivering innovative, reliable and robust software solutions for both client-facing and internally used applications. The role is located in Berkshire.

Description

The successful .NET Core Principal Engineer - Financial Services (up to 120,000 GBP) will have:

  • Experience working with tech leads and senior management to advise them on best practices.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical leadership role
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering leadership covering architecture development, DevOps practices, building cloud based technologies etc
  • Deepest technical knowledge of our desired engineer technologies
  • Ensuring good code design, quality, reliability, and resiliency, through the setting of design standards, and driving process improvements.

Profile

The successful Senior SQL C# Developer / Securitization - Investment Banking will have;

  • Front-end: React (inc Hooks), Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, ES6, HTML/CSS/CSS pre-processors, Storybook, User Interface design
  • Back-end: C#, .Net, MS SQL Server, RESTful APIs
  • Azure cloud hosting including APIM, Storage accounts, Azure front door etc
  • Tooling/Environments: Github action (CI/CD)
  • Developing software using TDD, maintaining good test coverage.
  • Deliver software adhering to SOLID and other best practice principals
