Job Description
Landscape Estimator / QS required to work for an award winning garden design and build contractor based in South London. They have been in business for over 30 years and specialise within the high-end, luxury residential sector, delivering projects from the initial design stage through to construction and aftercare.
The Landscape Estimator / QS will report to the Construction Director and will be responsible for the Companies costing on current and new workload taking into consideration variations and monthly draw downs. The Landscape Estimator / QS will support all business units to ensure the successful collaboration of services to successful deliver builds on time and on budget.
Given the nature of the role, travel throughout West and South London is expected, with time split between the office, home and sites.
Landscape Estimator / QS Position Overview
- Prepare, price and issue accurate estimates for a variety of domestic contracting projects ranging from £25,000 to over £1 million.
- Complete and submit PQQ's and tenders, including all supporting information.
- Complete bills of quantities and schedule of rates as required.
- Undertake site visits as necessary.
- Prepare tender or quotation for submission on time
Landscape Estimator / QS Position Requirements
- Experience working for a design and build contractor
- Experience working on high end residential projects (Garden, Landscaping or internal)
- Experience costing works and projects
- Based in London, or reasonable commuting distance from Clapham
Landscape Estimator / QS Position Remuneration
- Salary £40K + per annum dependant on experience
