Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a globally renowned Oil, Gas & Energies business for a Front End Engineer to support a cross-functional product team's efforts in rebuilding their approach to fundamental analytics; utilising cutting-edge technology to deliver human-centred, digital products.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer to work closely with other engineers, product owners, product managers, designers, and vendors to deliver our product.

What you'll do

• Build UI's using modern tools such as ES6, React, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, SQL, NoSQL, CSS, CSS-in-JS, Redux, Webpack, Jest, and Enzyme
• Deliver high-quality, well-tested code
• Communicate with other teams and individuals to plan, coordinate, and seek feedback
• Pitch in where needed as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.

What you'll need

• Experience with modern JavaScript code, testing, debugging and automation techniques
• A passion for building user-friendly, data-rich JavaScript/HTML/CSS applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience deploying production applications (e.g. Azure, AWS)
• Rave about the benefits that CI/CD has given you in previous projects
• Care deeply about performance, accessibility, and API design
• Have a high bar for user experience quality
• A solid background in Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and deftness at object-oriented design and systems architecture
• Great communication skills
