Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a 1:1 teaching assistant to support a young girl in year 1 with ASD. About the role The role will be supporting the child throughout the day in class and out of class activities Role is to start in January. Teaching Assistant required to support across the school Successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside teacher and other highly skilled Teaching Assistants to provide academic and social support Previous experience working with pupils with ASD/ADHD is desirable but not essential About the school A popular two form entry school in Croydon Experienced and supportive SLT School is well known for its inclusive approach and has created its own SEN provision Children who attend are engaged in their learning, with the school wanting to create life-long learners through offering a personalised curriculum. Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will: Hold enhanced child workforce DBS or be willing to obtain one Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
