Your new role

Are you a SQL DBA with development experience? Have you got a problem-solving approach and a can-do attitude? Do you have the ability to work on your own initiative? If so, then we may have the perfect role for you!

They are looking to recruit a service management focused, SQL DBA Developer who will work closely with the Cloud & DC, Security, and development teams to support the build out of a centre of excellence for data driven development and operations.

What you'll need to succeed

• 
  
• Strong DBA experience with on-premises SQL server technologies
  
• Experience in MS Azure technologies:
  
• Azure SQL i.e., Azure SQL, Managed SQL Instance, and IaaS
  
• Experience with relational database architecture and schema design
  
• Experience in large database, highly transactional environments
  
• Knowledge/Experience of scripting tools e.g., PowerShell or Python or both
  
• Experience working with SSIS and ETL tools/technologies
  
• Working knowledge of DevOps & Agile methodologies
  

What you'll get in return

You will get a salary in the region of £40,000 - £45,000. Remote working with a requirement of just one day in the office a week. 25 days holiday allowance plus the option to purchase an extra 5 days, and a number of other incredible benefits. For example;
