Job Description
As a key part of the BIMM Institute marketing team you will take ownership of the key central social media channels, with a particular focus on our colleges located within the UK. In the role you will manage communities, offer customer service and create content calendars to ensure that our social media output is engaging, informative, creative and on-brand.You will work closely with our marketing and admissions teams, as well as students, lecturers and alumni to showcase the best of BIMM to our future students.If you are an experienced social media manager who loves music and is passionate about education this role will provide you with a platform to develop as a social media marketer.Essential criteriaExperience in managing multiple social media accountsGood stakeholder managementExperience creating content calendars and plansA general understanding of the marketing mix and a strong interest in social media & digital marketingStrong customer service skillsGood copywriting skills and ability to communicate ideasAttention to detailDesirable criteriaExperience using Social Media Management toolsExperience Using Facebook Ads ManagerGood project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projectsKnowledge of Adobe SuiteStrong team player with a sense of humour, and the ability to quickly integrate into new teamsHighly motivated & self confident; positive attitudeAccountabilitiesSocial MediaTo actively monitor and engage with all forms of Social Media across BIMM Institute social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedinTo act as one of the key points of contact for social media queries, developing a response process, engaging with potential and existing students and looking to proactively influence these groups and resolve any arising issues. To escalate issues as appropriate through correct channelsAssist with growth of social media networks and audiencesDevelop relationships with social media "influencers" including student ambassadors, alumni, tutors and key industry partnersEnsure key marketing messages are distributed via BIMM social media platformsMonitor and assist with management of student groupsEnsure social events are up to dateMonitor reviews of BIMM across a number of platforms (e.g. social networks, discussion forums) and respond in an appropriate manner.
