Whilst embedding the development of skills (English, Maths and IT) at Levels E3-L3 in all teaching practice, and contribute to work experience activities. You will deliver training and assessment activities to a range of learners on our full time and part time programmes and liaise with external agencies as appropriate with regard to the delivery of the Plumbing curriculum.
We're looking for a fully qualified Plumber who holds a Level 3 qualification as a minimum. With experience of working as part of a team, you will have previous success of working in the Plumbing industry and have worked with systems and equipment in a wide range of environments.
The applicant needs to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to teach at a level appropriate to the students and in a way that recognises their different learning abilities. Knowledge and understanding of current curriculum changes and the implications for learning strategies in Plumbing is a must, as is the ability to teach and assess Plumbing practices in either a teaching or learning environment or in the workplace. A teaching qualification and an assessor's award is also essential. An internal verification award would be an advantage to assist with the quality process and standards of the awarding bodies.
