Job Description

Scope:

This global scientific company are a trusted partner to their clients, supporting innovation and optimising workflows with leading organisations operating in the pharmaceutical and biotech space. Providing resource and expertise they offer a broad variety of on-site Laboratory Services.

They have a unique opportunity available for a Change Manager with one of their high profile clients, arising from a major site move. This role is time critical and so the person hire will need to be available quickly and be based within a commutable distance from Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and tracking change management activities to ensure operational readiness in the new build customer facility
  • Role deliverables including fit for purpose communications, training schedules, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, organizational readiness analysis, coaching, resistance management
  • Review transition and alignment projects and apply change management processes and tools to ensure delivery to timeline and to support adoption of the changes
  • Delivery and management of communications to management and teams to ensure up to date information share
  • Ensure appropriate and responsive customer, partner and stakeholder engagement
  • Complete change management assessments and identify and prepare risk mitigation work streams and activities where appropriate
  • Validate and ensure associate (user) readiness and service readiness for transition, tracking and reporting blockers and issues

About You:

  • Change Management experience - Essential.
  • Project Management accreditation or proven project management experience of approaches, tools and phases of a project lifecycle
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
  • Software experience - Visio, iserver architecture, Project Planner, Process mapping
  • High level organisational skills with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work and respond in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Natural leadership and coaching abilities
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels and with multiple customers
