About the role The Media Technology team is responsible for building custom tools, prototypes and innovative solutions for our media teams. The Media Technology Associate Director will be responsible for establishing and delivering the technical roadmap in conjunction with their allocated client. The role involves working with Media Technology Managers and Media Technology Executives to streamline workflow and drive efficiencies for client teams, including Activation, Client Services and Planning. The role involves managing 2 members, overseeing their work and their development to successfully execute projects. Some of the things we'd like you to do: Scope and develop the tools and solutions that are already on the roadmap. This will notably be the case for tools which roadmap has already been approved via a SOW and will require you to connect to advertising platforms' APIs, generate information via machine learning models, manipulate, stitch data in BigQuery and present results back in reporting suites. Internal & client communications to discuss latest developments, gather feedback on potential improvements, scope out new needs, and create requirements Oversee development, maintenance, and creation of proprietary tech tools and processes with Media Activation team Be the primary point of contact between the Media Activation team and regular stakeholders both internal & external for their account(s) Develop strong relationships with Activation channel leads, supplier API contacts, and lead team communications with these stakeholders Manage, support and upskill the junior members of the team A bit about yourself: Bachelor's degree in a Media/Advertising, Computer Science or a related field Approximately 3-5 years experience in a digital media agency on a technology based role or within a software engineering company/department.
