We are looking for an experienced SEN class teacher (Mon-Thurs) for the Summer Term in one of our primary classes. We are looking for an experienced SEN class teacher (Mon-Thurs) for the Summer Term in one of our primary classes. There are 8 pupils in the class (years 4-6) and they all have speech, language and communication needs and/or ASD. They are concrete thinkers and subject based learners. They are working at cognitive levels between 2 to 5 years, pre-Key stage Standard 2 through to 4. The majority can engage in class/group learning for between 10-20 minutes. Their learning needs to be visual and kinaesthetic in nature. There are 3-4 teaching assistants in the class each day to support learning.
