The post holder will be expected to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and performance management processes to drive effectiveness and efficiencies across Applied Sciences. The Strategy & Integration Manager will have a have a particular focus on developing participation strategies for the main components of bp's new and emerging value chains such as bioenergy, hydrogen and CCUS in partnership with leads for these areas (participation strategies will help us determine what R&D activities should be conducted in-house, and which through partnerships with third parties). The Science Strategy & Integration Manager will play a lead role in ensuring effective integration across applied sciences and with bp teams. This work will include the articulation of how Applied Sciences creates value for bp's business with the post holder being accountable for delivering best-in-class communications content to showcase prioritised activities and delivery milestones. They will work with other members of the Applied Sciences teams and with internal communications experts to use selected channels to enhance Applied Sciences integration and alignment with bp's stakeholders.
