Position: Cover Supervisor! Overview: As a Cover Supervisor , you will play a crucial role in maintaining a productive and harmonious classroom environment when regular teachers are absent. Your responsibilities include supervising students, ensuring they stay on task with pre-prepared exercises, and providing support across different subjects. Duties and Responsibilities: Classroom Management: In the absence of the class teacher, create a safe, tidy, and productive classroom environment. Manage student behaviour in accordance with the school's behaviour policy. Student Engagement: Keep students motivated to complete pre-set exercises. Guide students through the steps required to complete tasks. Provide necessary materials or tools for pre-prepared work. Curriculum Support: Assist students across different curriculum areas (Key Stage 3 and 4). Ensure students follow pre-prepared material as per school policy. Communication: Communicate with the absent teacher and forward completed exercises to them. Qualifications: Relevant experience working with young people in a learning environment. Clear and positive communication skills. Understanding of the curriculum. GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths. As an exam invigilator you will oversee and supervise examinations to ensure that the guidelines and regulations of the exam board are followed during session.This is a flexible opportunity, whether you are looking for full time or part time work which can lead to other opportunities within education.Responsibilities: To support in the set up of the examination room.
