Are you passionate about caring for young people? Have you got experience working with children? Do you have classroom based experience? Academics work alongside several primary schools within the Wirral, who are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to start in January. These roles will include working alongside the class teacher to provide a welcoming and energetic classroom experience for all children. Some TA's will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis as well as work with small groups on intervention style activities. The ideal candidate: Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom, ensuring the children are looked after and learning from the content delivered Experience supporting children, especially those with specific learning difficulties Understand the social, emotional, and academic needs of children Commitment to the building and maintaining positive relationships A warm and friendly positive approach in the classroom Be caring, patient and understanding TA roles sometimes include 1:1 work, this is where you will work closely with one specific student to ensure their progress and attainment, you can decide if you'd like to work 1:1 or as a general TA.
