Ensure that all incoming correspondence is actioned and archived within agreed timescales and that all safeguarding issues, or children who are potentially at risk of harm, are immediately raised with the Duty Manager for assessment.3. Represent the MASH at internal and external meetings liaising with a range of partner agencies, providing regular feedback on service development and improvement initiatives. 4. To produce statistical information that supports managerial decision making based upon data that is reliable and of good data quality.5. To have a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures and thresholds that are in place to effectively manage the MASH and be able to sign post people making contact with the hub to relevant agencies to support the reduction in referrals to social care. Knowledge An appreciation and understanding of current issues in social work practice and services in place to safeguard children and young people. Experience: To have experience of managing referrals within Children's ServicesTo have experience of working with multiple agencies to facilitate holistic support

Location: Hybrid, WFH, School Visits to schools within Walsall Borough and working onsite at Civic Centre, Walsall Town Centre Working hours: 37 hours per week, Mon - Thurs 8.45am - 5.15pm, Fri - 8.45am - 4.45pm Driving Licence is beneficial, not essential.Standard DBS check required.Face to face interview. Someone with data analysis skills, proficient use of Excel. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with a range of audiences, including schools and headteachers. Ability to undertake an element of manual work through measuring rooms with a measuring device. Job spec: There are manual handling duties required of the post-holder, including the delivery of consultation documents to schools. The post-holder will be expected to use VDU equipment and an electronic measuring device on a regular basis.
