Posted on 20/01/2022 The Role Here at Homefield Road Vets, we are seeking a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our expanding team. This role will give the candidate a mixture of time consulting and operating. The working shifts will consist of whole days (8:30am until 6:30pm) over a 3 or 4 day week. You will be required to participate in an out of hours rota, this will be a 1-night duty per week and 1 in 4 weekends on call. When on call for the weekend you will be required to cover Saturday morning surgery (8:30am-2:00pm). The salary will be up to £50,000 FTE depending on experience. About Us Homefield Road Vets is a modern, spacious, purpose-built building with excellent facilities. The large building consists of two theatres, radiography suite, separate cattery and kennels and three consultation rooms. We have an inhouse laboratory, as well as dental x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopes enabling us to work up a variety of cases. Our team consists of 6 Veterinary Surgeons over two branches, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses as well as 4 Nursing Assistants. The practice also has a dedicated Reception team to greet our clients. As a team we are always looking to improve, therefore a candidate that would like to do a certificate would be supported.
