Location: West Drayton
Pay Rate: £22.00 - £23.00 per hour
Annual Salary: £56,000 - £58,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday + Saturdays on a rota basis

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join a busy and professional workshop in West Drayton. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a modern fleet while benefiting from ongoing training and progression opportunities.
HGV Mechanic/ HGV Technician The Role
As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of fleet and customer vehicles. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll help ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance.
HGV Mechanic/ HGV Technician Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Replace and repair components in line with manufacturer specifications and legislative requirements
- Complete maintenance records and workshop documentation accurately
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Provide technical support and assistance when required
HGV Mechanic/ HGV Technician Requirements
- Fully qualified HGV Mechanic (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing HGV vehicles
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
- Full UK Driving Licence essential
- HGV or PSV Licence desirable
