Role: Class teacher

Location: Cambian SEMH Home Tree school- Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time, permanent position

Salary Details: Up to £37,000 per annum DOE

We offer a broad and enriching curriculum to our students and currently require an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher. You will have a flexible, creative and practical approach to learning and be responsible for developing individualised / small group programs. Class sizes are no more than 5 students, with dedicated TA support and you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The School:

Cambian Home Tree School is an independent DfE-registered, co-educational day school which specialises in accommodating students who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The school typically caters for up to 25 students aged between 12-18 years of age and each classroom features different learning environments for alternative ways of learning.

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification and experience.
• A thorough understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
