A Wellingborough based Food company is currently looking for a site cleaner to ensure that the environment and operational machinery meets Health and Food Safety Standards.

It is a Full time role working alternative shifts Early 06.00 - 14.00 one week then lates 14.00 -22.00 the next week.

This is a varied, busy role which requires the Cleaner to work across all areas of the factory.

Key Accountabilities & responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
• Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards, measured through testing of samples
• Deep cleaning of production areas
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
• Making sure that all completed work complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Food Safety protocols
• Follow all Quality systems and procedures to ensure machinery meet food safety, legal and customer requirements, as well as maintaining external standards of BRC.
• Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager.

Key skills

• Previous background in a similar hygiene or cleaning role
• Food industry background helpful

• High personal standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Happy to wear required PPE
