Science Teacher - Hounslow, London
(Long-term, ongoing role - ASAP start)

A high-achieving secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term, ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible. The role is expected to continue until at least July 2026.

This position is full-time. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, and on-site parking is available.
Salary will be in line with the (Inner/Outer) London MPS/UPS pay scale.



Science Teacher - Hounslow, London

Deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 if applicable), inspiring students to develop curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject.
Plan and deliver creative, practical learning experiences that help students connect scientific concepts with real-world applications.
Support students' academic progress by encouraging independent thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, respect, and high achievement.
Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking teaching team, committed to continual improvement and excellence.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in a relevant science discipline
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students across all abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Committed, approachable, and enthusiastic about supporting student success
