We are looking for 2 motivated salaried GP's to join our supportive team, who can ideally work 6 sessions across three or four days per week including a Monday or Friday. This job would suit a newly qualified CCT'd or experienced GP. We are a two site practice with 10,000 patients, with good transport links via roads to surrounding areas in South Yorkshire. Due to our recent merger of two practices The New Surgery & Barnburgh there may be a partnership opportunity in future for the right candidate to join our existing team. Our working day consists of 10-minute consultations, as standard - mostly face to face with routine telephone follow-ups and administration time. Following the Modern General Practice, our GP telephone Triage sessions are currently morning and afternoon sessions daily, working along side experienced care navigators. We are looking for a new Salaried GP to work 4 sessions per week to join our successful team. There are options to furtherincrease earnings by working extended hours (either within the Practice or via local Hubs). Clinical administration is kept manageable by the involvement of the whole Practice team. The Practice Nurses action chronic disease and normal investigation results, administrative staff scan and code hospital correspondence and add medication prior to review by a clinician for issuing, and the Non-medical Prescribing Pharmacists sort most of the repeat prescriptions. We use EMISweb for medical record-keeping and PATCHS for online consultation requests.
