A leading family law practice based in London is looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Family Solicitor seeking a new challenge within a highly respected, specialist firm known for its client-focused and practical approach to family law.

The successful Family Solicitor will be joining a supportive and close-knit team, handling a varied caseload across all areas of family law including divorce, financial settlements, private children matters, and cohabitation disputes. As a Family Solicitor, you will play a key role in maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence and helping clients navigate sensitive legal matters with professionalism and empathy.



The Family Solicitor's role

The Family Solicitor will be responsible for managing their own caseload from instruction to conclusion, advising clients on a range of family law matters including separation, pre-nuptial agreements, domestic abuse, and child arrangements. You will be expected to undertake advocacy where appropriate and contribute to the continued development of the department.

You'll be working closely with senior colleagues, benefitting from a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development. Strong client care and communication skills are essential, as is a practical and solution-focused approach to handling cases.



The Family Solicitor

  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in family law

  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of private family law

  • Experience in managing your own caseload independently

  • Confident with advocacy and attending court when required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Member of Resolution or accredited by the Law Society in family law (desirable)
