The ideal candidate would have previous Head Chef experience, but we will also consider candidates that have been second in command but feel ready to take on the next step. Someone passionate & eager to succeed, displaying a desire to deliver and achieve the highest quality and standards. We are looking for creativity, real kitchen flair to produce some amazing tasty dishes for our guests. Good communication skills are a must as you will be expected to manage and inspire a small back of house team to work alongside the front of house and report to the General Manager. You will be working in a fast-paced environment hence the ability to multitask, supervise and lead without compromising the quality, consistency and presentation of the dishes is crucial. You must have a thorough Food safety and Health and safety knowledge, Level 3 desirable to ensure you and the team adhere to all the Food/Health & Safety rules so the workspace is safe, organised and tidy. We are looking for a can-do attitude and have a genuine passion for food, be proud of the quality coming out the kitchen. The position will be permanent, and the salary will be dependent on experience, weekly working hours will be 48hours on a rota basis to include weekends, school holidays, bank holidays and late nights - Weekend availability is essential. You will be responsible for creating dishes and menu alongside our General Manager, organising and planning food preparation, ordering, checking all deliveries as well as ensuring the stock is well maintained, rotated to ensure a good stock control.
