(micrometer, vernier, height/depth gauges) To operate CMM machines both manual and computerised to ensure components meet specification (upon receipt of training) To complete product process documentation accurately and on time. To input production data accurately and correctly using the IFS system, including working instructions. To inform the Value Stream Leader / Cell Co-ordinator immediately of any problems occurring during production process operations. To carry out basic routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. Ensure there is good communication within the team and cross functional teams. To support and embrace a culture of lean manufacturing. This role has full responsibility for the engineering workshop, Engineering craft teams and apprentices to ensure the plant achieves daily targets in Safety, Quality, Throughput and Cost. Key responsibilities associated with the role: Delivering the plant annual maintenance plan and SAP PM schedule completion Ensuring the Engineering craft team are adequately trained, competent, resourced (including contractor support) and engaged in the correct plant priorities Establishing maintenance reporting systems and departmental KPI's to deliver measurable improvements in the effectiveness of the Engineering craft team.
