We are recruiting an experienced Hygiene Supervisor with at least two years of relevant FMCG experience to work for a major food producer based in Cambridgeshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a forward thinking Hygiene team acting as Supervisor to the department. This is a brilliant chance to demonstrate your leadership abilities and develop an enthusiastic and committed team.

The Role:
Working with the Hygiene Manager and alongside site Food Safety Manager your main responsibilities will be: -
  • Ensuring that safety and quality instructions and targets are met effectively
  • Training and developing staff to achieve high standards of factory hygiene.
  • Working to achieve Hygiene KPI’s.
  • Completing cleaning schedules and maintaining documentation.
  • Working alongside the Hygiene Manager to ensure that procedures are kept up to date and relevant to customer’s current and future needs.

Job Requirements:

The correct candidate will have the following Knowledge and Experience:
  • An understanding of food manufacturing best practice (GMP)
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • An IOSH managing safely certificate, or be prepared to attend training.
  • Previous experience working in hygiene preferred.
  • The ability to make use of MS office (Word, excel, PowerPoint) and email.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to motivate, strive to improve and a desire to progress within the industry.
Hours of work average of 48 per week. Night work included with rota cover for weekends.

  • Diploma/Certificate
