Job Description:

The Team The Learning and development department provide business skills, personal and management development courses/programmes which are available to partners, associates, business services staff and secretaries globally. These are delivered by our in-house learning and development team to help meet the strategic objectives of the practice. The training is designed and delivered based on acknowledged best practice and the latest thinking in management, leadership, business development and personal effectiveness as well as blending knowledge and understanding of the practice culture, values and procedures to provide training that is relevant to the work undertaken in the practice. The team also provides open courses, coaching and customised sessions to individuals, teams and groups. We also provide training to the clients of the practice. The Role The successful candidate will be required to manage our e-learning catalogue, converting raw video footage and liaising with our third party service providers who edit and package video for uploading to the LMS as e-learning and to test e-learning courses for functionality. Good experience in managing third party e-learning suppliers and the technical ability to work with video and audio content, experience of testing e-learning and working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is essential. The role also includes tasks as outlined below. Key responsibilities Proactively manage camera bookings (established process) Manage the 'end to end' process of all the video recording needs in EMEA, including: Manage video conversions (mainly from camera bookings) and WebEx Maintain content and functionality when importing recordings Maintain of accurate titles, recording and CPD information Project manage the flow of video/audio editing and e-learning content to and from our third party supplier(s) Upload video and other e-learning content onto our LMS - retaining SCORM functionality Ensure corporate branding guidelines are adhered to Manage relationships with Subject Matter Experts requesting the upload of video content to the LMS Proactively manage of administrative tasks including enrolments, user status and archiving Provide end-user support for catalogue content and technical issues Lead and support in establishing and implementing processes and associated documentation Carry out regular audit checks of material that has been deployed through the LMS Manage the reporting process for internal and external clients for all reports as requested Assist with development projects and new technologies as required Provide e-learning tester support for content developed by our third party e-learning developer once uploaded to our LMS for functionality where required to do so (and with appropriate training) Any other reasonable duties as required Skills and experience required Can demonstrate experience of using/managing and working with the following: Adobe Premiere Pro (desirable) Learning Managing System (LMS) - Cornerstone and Kallidus (desirable) Adobe PhotoShop (desirable) WebEx recordings (desirable) SCORM compliant materials Multimedia editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud) File sharing software (Kiteworks and Share Point) (desirable) Have the ability to Work with minimal supervision after instruction, showing initiative and a 'can-do' attitude Demonstrate good aptitude for picking up software from initial training Maintain close attention to detail Think innovatively and take initiative to solve problems effectively Work to tight deadlines as part of a flexible team Prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines Think in a creative, logical, and analytical manner Handle and resolve technical issues Build productive working relationships Creativity and innovation - an ability to look at problems from different angles Team player - has the ability to work successfully in a team environment At Norton Rose Fulbright we welcome receiving direct candidate applications via our careers page.
